Freedom from Torture Chief Executive Susan Munroe resigns: My 3 years as CEO of Freedom from Torture have been the happiest and most fulfilling of my working life. I have been really privileged to have led the organisation through a period of growth and development and am proud to be leaving it in a stronger position than when I started.

It has been so wonderful to have had the opportunity to have met so many amazing survivors of torture who are so inspiring in what they have managed to overcome, often with the help of our very special services. It has also been humbling to meet so many people who are so very passionate about our cause and want so much to do something to address the terrible injustice and brutality of torture and I am proud to join you and continue to support Freedom from Torture in any way I can.
